The New York Knicks used a strong fourth quarter to beat the Sacramento Kings 103-87, turning a close contest into a comfortable win. After three quarters the game was tied, but New York outscored Sacramento decisively in the final period to secure its third straight victory.

Jalen Brunson paced the Knicks with 28 points, repeatedly answering Sacramento’s pushes with timely baskets. New York’s defense tightened late, and the offense found rhythm at the right moment, creating separation that the Kings could not close.

Supporting cast delivers, and the Kings’ slump continues

New York also got meaningful contributions across the lineup. Mikal Bridges added 18 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns posted a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Knicks managed to win even with a high turnover total, compensating by executing efficiently down the stretch.

Sacramento was led by DeMar DeRozan, who scored 34 points, but the Kings struggled to generate enough reliable offense from elsewhere when the Knicks went on their late run. Sacramento’s three-point shooting also lagged behind, and the loss extended a difficult stretch for the team.

A fourth-quarter burst seals it

In the closing minutes, the Knicks strung together stops and high-leverage makes, including a sequence of baskets that produced a game-breaking run. As the margin grew, New York controlled tempo and forced Sacramento into lower-quality shots.

The win reinforced New York’s position as a strong home team, while Sacramento left facing urgent questions about how to reverse momentum and find consistent two-way play.
